Parking

For Exhibitors

The always popular exhibitor parking beneath the I-5 bridge is available again. You may purchase a three-day exhibitor parking pass that allows in-and-out access during the show dates for $30. The parking lot is located under the I-5 bridge. Passes may be puchased in advance or through the show office in Room C-120 during show week. Space is limited, so place your order today. You can pick up your passes in the show office.

  • Order your pass(es) online
  • Order by phone: toll-free at (800) 342-6401 or (503) 682-5089 in the Portland metro area.
  • Order by fax: (503) 682-5099.

Note: Trailers and large vehicles that take up more than one standard parking space will require additional parking passes.

Farwest Show management highly encourages exhibitors to utilize this parking lot during the show. It is an open air lot, which will allow for parking of vehicles exceeding seven feet in height, and it will also give exhibitors a nearby parking lot to utilize during the Saturday evening move-out. Please note - though the I-5 bridge does recede to the parking lot floor - so be aware as you park. In addition, the convention center is currently charging $8 per entry into its underground parking lot that will be utilized by attendees of the show. However, this lot will not allow in/out access.

Please note, however, that if you need to find a place to park large trucks during the show, there are several options. We suggest you consult with the hotel or motel you will be staying at, or check with one of the truck stops in the local area, for example the Flying J Travel Plaza, Troutdale, (503) 665-7741, web site is www.flyingj.com; or Jubitz-Portland, (503) 283-1111, web site is www.jubitz.com.

Attendee Parking

OCC Parking Garage

A two-level underground parking garage is available for the 2007 Farwest Show. This lot includes 800 spaces. There will be plenty of parking for show exhibitors and visitors at several nearby parking garages. Click here for more information on parking garages at the OCC's web site. It includes a map showing the location of the OCC-controlled garages. Cost to park in the OCC garages is $8 per day. However, no in-and-out privileges are allowed.

Other Garages

There are also a variety of privately operated garages and surface lots within close proximity of the Convention Center. However, the prices charged are not controlled by OCC and may be substantially higher.

Public Transportation

Note: bridge construction during the month of August will require MAX passengers traveling between the east and west sides to be rerouted via bus. Please allow some extra time for transportation during the construction.

For those who don't want or need to deal with parking issues, OCC is conveniently located within walking distance of many fine hotels and is served by both TriMet's MAX light-rail system and bus. The Convention Center is located in MAX's "Fareless Square", which makes it a free ride from the downtown area. It will let you off right at the front door. Several bus routes stop just two blocks away. For TriMet information call (503) 238-7433 or visit their web site. Show management encourages exhibitors and visitors alike to consider using mass transit to attend the show.
